Rebecca Fagan, a senior physiotherapist and yoga therapist.
Rebecca has extensive experience (20 + years) in private practice and a background in community health, hospitals and rehabilitation.
Rebecca was a tutor for over a decade with the Australian Physiotherapy Association’s Acupuncture and Dry Needling courses.
Having recently moved interstate to Queensland, Rebecca is excited to be starting private practice in Brighton, Brisbane.
Rebecca’s special interest areas include:

About Physioyoga's Integrative Yoga Courses
Integrative Yoga combines traditional Yoga with modern health and brain science.
- Integrative Yoga brings together gems from many Yoga traditions plus a sprinkling of Pilates.
- All on a base of physiotherapy principles incorporating modern pain science and mental health aware practice.
- We provide education and training for health care practitioners including physiotherapists and exercise physiologists.

Alongside physiotherapy practice, Rebecca has taught gentle classical hatha yoga for over 20 years. Integrating Yoga into musculoskeletal clinical practice, she shares a wealth of inspiring, practical clinical gems.
Rebecca draws inspiration from a wide-range of yoga styles and lineages including Hatha, Restorative and Yin yoga.
Mindfulness, Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) and Meditation are part physioyoga.
Rebecca has experience in a number of meditation techniques and traditions including Buddhist and Raja Yoga meditation.
Physiotherapy and Yoga both focus our awareness on the body, breath and mind as well as personal goals and values.

Qualifications of Rebecca Fagan
Member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (A.P.A.M)
Rebecca has been an active member of the APA as Chair of Acupuncture and Dry needling Group, NAC rep and a conference scientific sub-committee chair.

Alongside extensive musculoskeletal experience in private practice, Rebecca has worked in hospitals, community, rehabilitation and education background.
She has a particular interest in chronic health conditions and persisting pain.
Rebecca’s interests
Alongside yoga and meditation include walking in nature, paddle boarding, dancing, chanting and singing, playing the cello.
Oh and regular dog walking.
